Menopause & Perimenopause Health Assessment

  • 30 minutes with one of our Registered Nurses followed by a 30-minute consult with your regular Doctor.

  • Navigating perimenopause and menopause can bring a range of physical and emotional changes. Our doctors offer supportive, personalised health assessments to help you understand your symptoms, explore treatment options, and feel confident in managing this stage of life.


    Whether you're experiencing new symptoms or simply want to check in on your health, we’re here to provide guidance, care, and tailored support.

  • You must be experiencing symptoms of premature ovarian insufficiency, early menopause, perimenopause, or menopause.

    Please speak to your GP if unsure.

45-49 year Health Assessment

  • 45 minutes with a Registered Nurse, 30 minutes with your regular Doctor.

  • Our 45-49 year health check is a comprehensive health check which involves a blood test, time with our nurse and a follow-up with your regular doctor.

    Your time spent with our nurses will be spent going through family history, lifestyle, risk factors and your blood results. You will then see your regular GP to complete the health assessment and implement any necessary actions.

    With no out of pocket cost, it is absolutely worth doing!

  • All patients aged between 45-49 years old are eligible for this once off health assessment.

Home Health Assessment

  • 1 hour appointment in your home with one of our Registered Nurses. This home assessment is followed by a 30 minute appointment with your regular Doctor in clinic.

  • Our annual home health assessments is an in-depth assessment of patients aged 75 years and older. This assessment provides a structured way of identifying health issues and conditions that are potentially preventable or amenable to interventions in order to improve health and/or quality of life.

    The purpose of this health assessment is to help identify risk and help keep patients in their homes as long as possible.

    The Russell Clinic Doctors highly recommend this service to eligible patients.

  • All patients aged 75 years and older are eligible for this service.

Heart Health Check

  • 30 minutes with one of our Registered Nurses followed by a 30 minute consult with your regular Doctor.

  • A Heart Health Check is a comprehensive cardiovascular disease (CVD) risk assessment and ongoing management plan for people who do not have known CVD.

    The burden of cardiovascular disease (CVD) in Australia is high. CVD causes one in four of all deaths, claims the life of one person every 12 minutes and accounts for 1,600 hospitalisations per day.

    Two-thirds of Australian adults are living with at least three CVD risk factors, such as elevated blood pressure, cholesterol and diabetes.

    It is estimated that one-fifth of Australian adults aged 30 to 74 years – or 1.4 million people – are at high risk of having a heart attack or stroke in the next five years.

    Heart health checks are highly recommended for all eligible patients.

  • All patients aged between 30 – 74 years are eligible for this service.

Home Medication Review

  • 1 hour appointment in your home with a trusted pharmacist. This home assessment is followed by a 15 minute appointment with your regular Doctor in clinic.

  • Home medication reviews are a fantastic tool used by our Doctors to ensure medication compliance. Our Doctors look at suggested medication changes from the Pharmacist and action as required. The pharmacist looks at changes that can often result in the patient saving money by combining medications.

  • Eligibility criteria needs to be discussed with your Doctor.

COVID-19 Vaccination

  • 15 minutes.

  • We currently run COVID-19 Vaccination clinics for both children and adults. At this stage we only provide Pfizer vaccinations.

  • Patients aged 12 and over are eligible for the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccination.

Coordinated Veteran’s Care Program

  • 15 minute phone call with your allocated Registered Nurse each month along with 6 monthly care plans. Your 6 monthly care plan will consist of 30 minute with your allocated RN and a 30 minute follow-up with your regular Doctor.

  • The CVC Program is a proactive coordinated care program. It aims to improve patient quality of life and decrease risk of unplanned hospitalisation.

  • Veteran Gold Card holders with a chronic condition are eligibly for this service.
